GET BACK TO NATURE IN OUR Luxury Glamping Lodge

Lower Whitsleigh Farm is a quiet, secluded world of huge green spaces, BBQ’s and campfires, an abundance of wildlife and late-night star gazing.

Our Luxury Safari Lodge is situated in a far corner of the farm with the most amazing views over the North Devon Countryside AND FAR AWAY.

An exclusive beautifully equipped 6-person luxury safari lodge nestled privately on our 17-acre smallholding. That means you’ll be staying exclusively and you’ll be free to explore the natural surroundings and footpaths on your doorstep.

Our 5-star safari tent is fully equipped with a kitchen, wood burning stove with a luxury bathroom and sleep six adults comfortably. A world away from everyday life, Lower Whitsleigh Farm is at the top-end of the glamping experience with the little luxuries of home.

The Safari Lodge has been built on a raised platform, with a huge timber deck. There is plenty of space to kick back and relax. Read a book, nap in the hammock, sip a coffee and take in the breathtaking views of the rolling North Devon Countryside.  Or do nothing but stare up at the sky, watching the scudding clouds or at night indulge in a sport of star gazing under amazing dark skies

Settle around the campfire for long evenings of storytelling or setting the world to rights, or simply gazing into the flickering flames while toasting marshmallows.

CLOSER TO NATURE – TAKE IN THE FABULOUS COUNTRYSIDE

Immerse yourself in nature, wake to fresh coffee and pastries, hot showers, play farm family and cook a feast over the fire pit. From family getaways, couples retreats, gatherings with friends, spa breaks or a dog-friendly stay, we have everything for a luxury glamping stay.

At dusk you may spot the residential barn owl hunting in the valley or catch a glimpse of a deer in the early morning mists.

Wake up to the sound of sheep bleating, donkeys braying, pigs snorting and the birds singing. Enjoy the dark skies and the starry nights.  Children in particular will enjoy seeing the farm animals and enjoying outdoor activities. We always encourage guests to meet and feed the animals or even take a tour and collect fresh free-range eggs for your breakfast.

LOWER WHITSLEIGH YOUR GLAMPING HOME FROM HOME

The kitchen area has all you need to rustle up a feast, if you’re not cooking al fresco on the fire pit!  There is a gas hob, fridge and a sink with hot water on tap. Why not book one of our fabulous food hampers too?

The bathroom doesn’t scrimp on luxury either. You have a flushing toilet, basin and hot shower. We also provide fluffy towels for your stay.

Outside, the tent has a huge and well sheltered veranda, facing away from the prevailing winds so that you can take in the fabulous view in all weathers. There’s a table and chairs for outdoor dining.
